Comfy beds, friendly workers, convenient laundry facilities with free soap. Hotel located a bit of walk from the waterfront but major bus route with frequent stops just outside. Surprisingly spacious rooms, small floors for less crowded showers. Free parking on weekends. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

The breakfast selection was impressive with a wide variety of choices and generous portions. The historic ambiance of the facilities, with rich wood interiors and portraits of past presidents, added to the overall experience. The staff at the front desk were friendly and knowledgeable, making me feel welcome during my stay. The room was spacious and exceeded my expectations, offering plenty of storage space and amenities like a small fridge. The fast internet connection was a pleasant surprise and made my stay even more convenient.

Great location, close to popular sights and attractions. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the free parking and the convenience of having it nearby.
Lack of air conditioning and windows that didn't open properly made the room uncomfortably stuffy. Blinds didn't provide enough privacy and allowed people from outside to see in.

Great value for money, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, good Wi-Fi connection, convenient location near Halifax Gardens and cafes, walking distance to downtown.
Felt well taken care of, no complaints at all.

The staff were friendly and helpful, always answering my questions and providing assistance. The location was great, with easy access to downtown and walking distance to many attractions. Plus, the breakfast offered homemade banana bread and breakfast bars, a delicious start to the day.
The bathroom facilities were less than ideal, with the curtain screening for separation between male and female areas. This was not the most comfortable or private setup.

This place is super convenient, right on a transit route with airport transit passes available. The staff is helpful and quick to respond to queries. The parking is good, rooms and washrooms are clean, and there are great laundry facilities. Plus, the card system is a breeze.
Felt very homey, no complaints.

The campus is beautifully designed and offers a stunning view of the courtyard. The rooms are spacious and well-lit, with plenty of storage and amenities like fridges and sinks. The bathroom facilities are clean and offer full privacy. The staff is helpful and cheerful, and maintenance is carried out regularly.
The closing of room doors can be a bit noisy.

The location of the hotel was great, being close to downtown and having a bus stop right outside. The staff were also very helpful and pleasant. The best aspects were the convenience of parking and the quietness of the campus.
The building was older, so there was no air conditioning. The provided towels were small and the beds were uncomfortable, with small pillows.

Convenient location near bus stop and walking distance to downtown. Quiet atmosphere with minimal interaction with others. Good value for the price, especially compared to downtown hotels. Comfortable rooms with ample storage and internet access. Suitable for solo travelers looking to explore Halifax on foot.

Our stay at the University Of King's College was a disaster. The room was disorganized and dirty, with unclean sheets and hair in the blankets. The pillow smelled like sweat and the bathrooms were shared with other guests. It was a complete disaster after a long drive from Ottawa. There was nothing good about our experience.
We have to mention that the location and value for the price were decent. The set up and check-in process were easy, and the staff were friendly.

Our room was clean and very comfortable. The walk to downtown was nice and easy, and public transportation was conveniently located right outside. The breakfast provided was plentiful and satisfying. Additionally, the staff promptly opened the basement floor blinds upon request. I'll recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and convenient location.
